It was lovely — the guide Theo was extremely friendly and helpful and welcoming. He even took us from another trail on our way down which was absolutely quiet where we plucked loads of blueberries and enjoyed drinking some water down a stream!

Our guide Rasmus was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful. We went up the secret trail so away from the crowds which was a far better route. The best trip we had in Norway thanks to Rasmus.

The experience on June 20 is a memory for life. Our guide became ill but was replaced by Stefan (from Explore Lysefjorden). He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He shared his experiences with us. Our group started out with eight people, but after the first plateau, there were only five of us left. Those of us who stayed were from Canada, Brazil, and Sweden (my husband and me). We couldn't have been a better group. We had great team spirit and interesting conversations while we were walking (climbing). :-)

Fantastic day out with Alexander. Very professional and very good with our group. We had people of all abilities including young children (10 years old) and a range of adults.

Our guide (Ivan) was very friendly and approachable. He also made sure to keep an eye of everyone. Also, gear (poles, shoes, jackets) was readily available and provided without charge to those who needed it. The drive was smooth and everything was on time. Would highly recommend this tour.

An absolutely incredible day that we will never forget! We can't recommend this hike & Get Guided Norway enough — everything from pickup to drop off was seamless and thoughtfully planned. Rasmus was an amazing and knowledgeable guide who made our time that much more memorable. This was the highlight of our stay in Stavanger and we hope that everyone has the chance to experience it!

Everything from start to finish went so smooth. Teodor, our guide, was very informative and professional throughout the whole experience. We had plenty of photo opportunities along the hike, would highly recommend this trip for anyone visiting Stavanger!

Our Guide (Christian) was very knowledgeable & took us up & down routes that were mainly off the main track. As a result, it was far quieter & a really pleasant experience.

A wonderful excursion with our guide, Alexander! We were picked up on time at our agreed meeting point and taken to the Preikestolen Basecamp. From there, we hiked with our guide to Pulpit Rock, staying off the main tourist trail. We particularly appreciated the fact that we were only a group of three people; that made the experience so special. On the way up, as well as on the platform itself, we had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and also to take photos. I can only recommend it! Everything was great!

Our guide Ivan was very accommodating and made sure we had plenty of photo stops. Everything was well planned and we felt comfortable the whole time.

Our trip with Teo to Preikestolen was perfect. Teo picked us up from the ship on time and we set off with a total of 8 people. Thanks to the guide, we were able to avoid the crowds on the way and climbed away from the tourists. At the end, Teo took us to a Norwegian café in Stavanger and ended the trip with us because we still had so much time before departure.

An amazing experience I will remember for the rest of my life! Teodor was an amazing guide, he explained us everything, told us more about the way Norwegians live, showed us an alternative route to the Pulpit rock through untouched nature. The view was astonishing and I would definitely recommend the visit to Pulpit rock with Get Guided Norway team.

I highly recommend this guided hike! It was a lovely group (I joined the hike alone) and I felt absolutely comfortable and safe at all times. Our guide, Rasmus, was extremely patient and told us lots of interesting information on the way. We took an alternative path for part of the way and it was so much nicer and way less crowded. It was an excellent trip. Dag, our tour guide was such a pleasant guy, very friendly and jovial. He did not hesitate to help when he saw that my husband and I (both in our 70s)needed a hand during the hike. Highly recommended.

The trip was 10/10! 🤩 We didn't know each other beforehand, but the guide Teo was so open, friendly, and inclusive that the atmosphere was great right away. The pace was relaxed and suited us as we don't go hiking very often, and if anyone fell behind, the guide took them into consideration and made the whole group wait. We had a great time, and it was definitely worth it! The guide was both a good cameraman and a great hiking companion – we almost forgot that he was actually the guide! This made the trip an unforgettable experience.

Even with really heavy weather conditions thus a really demanding trail, the guide was always there and helpful and Ivan ensured all were safe and no one left behind. He always advised about what and where to be extra cautious. I cannot imagine a better guide like he has been.

The hike to Pulpit Rock was magnificent, and the pick-up was on time and exactly at the pre-arranged location. Ivan, our guide, was very kind and very knowledgeable. Tiring but really worth it!

Taking a different route to the top made the experience feel even more special. The hike to Preikestolen was absolutely incredible! I was traveling solo and decided to join this guided excursion and I'm so glad I did. The weather added a touch of magic, it was foggy while we were in the forest, creating a peaceful and magical atmosphere, and then the sun came out just as we reached the top! Our guide Ivan, went above and beyond, leading us along the original trail all the way to the top and this made the experience even more special, as there was no one else around. We had the whole trail for us and I also got lucky with a really great group.

Ivan was such an incredibly patient, kind and friendly guide. We had an incredible time, with the right pace and he took us to an alternative trail on our way up where there were no other tourists. We were 8 in the group and it was a calm group. When he offers you the walking poles, do take it as it helps with the ascend and descend, makes the hike much easier. We had such a rewarding experience hiking with guide, Teo! The hike was difficult for me but Teo was there to support, share his water, go slower, take breaks etc. Without his support, I would have never finished this hike! The views up top are UNREAL and it is such an accomplishment to make it to the top. Teo is very knowledgeable, friendly and motivating. We greatly enjoyed his company.

Our guide Stephan was great. Knowledgeable, personable, interacted with the group well, great pace for the walk and took us on an alternative nature route for part of the summit walk. This was really enjoyable and we were lucky to have great weather. We had a bit of a mix-up the day before, as the tour we booked was a small group tour which included hotel pickup. I was surprised when we were asked to walk to the cruise terminal and to look for a big coach that could accommodate all the cruise passengers. we were then to be divided into 4 smaller groups. This took quite awhile to depart with all the passengers (45 minutes) and then we drove past our hotel in both directions! A great day with a reputable company, but the transport was definitely focused on catering for cruise ships rather than independent travellers

This hike was an absolute bucket list! I had the best time and our guide Cecilie was amazing! She took us off the beaten path and around the crowds. This alternate route had breath-taking views that we would have never seen, otherwise. Thank you Cecilie for taking care of us, sharing the experience and memories of one of my favorite hikes ever!

A great days adventure started with a prompt pick up from our hotel, followed by a drive through the longest undersea road tunnel before reaching our destination of Preikestolen base camp. Our guide, Ivan, took us on a lesser known/quieter route up to the top allowing stops for some amazing views on the way that visitors on the main route wouldn't get to experience. We stopped for lunch on a quieter ledge above Prekeistolen before dropping down to get photos from the actual rock and trekking back down to base camp. The rain on the way back didn't spoil an amazing day. Thankyou Ivan.

Rasmus has been a great guide. It is really worthy being with him. He discoverd us many secrets that most os companies misses.

I booked the tour to have the opportunity to hike off the main trail to Preikestolen. My expectations were completely fulfilled :) Thanks to Aleksander for the tour—it was a special experience!

It was a great tour. The ascent is exhausting, but we had a slow pace and it was therefore easy to do. We took the alternative route, which was much nicer and more pleasant to walk. Unfortunately, there were people who apparently didn't read beforehand that you have to be physically fit, and they slowed down the group a lot. So you had to wait all the time and then you got cold. Our guide Rasmus put in a lot of effort and told us lots of interesting things.

There are two things that were great about our trip. First out guide Alexander was amazing! Second, taking us through the old trail was a stroke of genious! As to what to improve, i dont have a lot of feedback to provide there. i was thoroughly pleased with our experience.

Our guide Teodor went beyond our expectation for our tour/hike to Preikestolen. He was kind, professional and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the fact that he proposed a different way to return to the base camp. We fully recommend him and his tour operator.

The tour guide, Tore, is super funny and tells some really interesting Norwegian stories. The weather was great when we went, and the sun came out on top of the pulpit. This is a wonderful day.

I absolutely loved the Pulpit Rock guided hike! Teodor is a very Knowledgeable and Fun Guide who made this day trip extremely memorable for all of us! Even though the weather wasn't at its sunniest best, Teodor made sure we discovered the joy of hiking by taking lesser known (and hence tourist free!) routes along the trail and engage in some fun berry hunting! Thankyou Teodor for giving us memories for a lifetime :) Absolutely Recommend this hike to all !

Went out in fall shoulder season with a small group and our guide Ivan. He was knowledgeable and easygoing. We took an off-the-beaten path trail that bypassed the main crowds. And he made sure all of our group could feel comfortable and keep up. The alternate natural trail was also easier on the joints than the stone steps. Got lucky with weather as well. Wonderful trip!

Excellent day with Theo the Berry Hunter at Pulpit Rock. Theo took us the secret hidden route which meant we didn't see a single other tourist on the trail (despite it being a busy day) and he made sure we walked at a good pace and took pauses for snacks, water, photos etc. We saw some exceptionally beautiful sights and ate lots of wild berries

It was so good and the view was incredible. The guide Aleksander was nice and kind, he helped us to make a good pace.

The walk wasn't easy. I'm fit so it was okay for me but many people struggled with the difficulty and distance. I thought people are just too close to the edge of Pulpit rock. Especially when there are winds. My guide took a selected few of us along a different track on the way back which made my day.

The weather was excellent. The hike was moderately challenging. I look forward to returning again.

Every bit of our Hiking Journey is exceptional, our Guide is very Co-operative and he is excellent in explaining history as well as he shows us different and old route for Hiking, that route is slightly difficult then new route to reach at top of Pulpit Rock but that experience of old route though the route is long will stay with us for our life time. All over amazing amazing amazing and extraordinary experience. Big Big Thanks to the Guide who gives us warm welcome and provide us the unique and Memorable life time experience.

This hike is a must-do in Stavanger, but be prepared for crowds. Don't let that deter you – it's suitable for non-hikers and the scenery is breathtaking! 🌄 Our guide was fantastic! Not only did they know all the best photogenic spots, but they also took amazing photos of us. 🙌 Even with three families to manage, they were patient and ensured everyone felt included. The added bonus? Interesting insights into the history of the path, including the fascinating story of how Nepalis built the path. 🏔️ Overall, a fantastic experience! 👍 Highly recommend.

A beautiful day trip with a knowledgeable tour guide. We took two different routes and immersed ourselves in the stunning Norwegian countryside. Challenging but definitely worth it. Highly recommended.

Very awesome guide full of exciting information about Norway, would definitely recommend going as it saves you the headache of booking bus tickets or other transportation & also we got to go on the side trail which saves time & avoids the crowded main trail.

It was a very meaningful experience. It was a route that I would never have been able to take on my first solo trip, and the guide provided enjoyable commentary while we climbed, and the views along the way were breathtaking. The view from the summit was like a reward, and everything was perfect. It was the best place I've ever been. I definitely want to join this tour again!

Excellent. Our guide Rusmus was an amazing guide. He literally helped us guiding up to the Pulpit rock and come down. The mountain terrain is not easy for a 67 and a 70 year old but he was there all through encouraging us. Thank you Rusmus. I will recommend this to physically fit people with a desire to enjoy the vastness of nature.
