the hike to kjeragbolten is an exciting adventure with stunning views all over. the trail takes you through varying terrain to a massive boulder wedged in the kjerag mountain, providing a thrilling experience in this unique place.
the panoramic views of the vertical cliffs and fjords beneath makes it a memorable experience for all kinds of people. join us for an extraordinary time in the mountains!

we recommend everyone to have the following clothes and equipment at hand when you get picked up by our guide:
- hiking shoes
- jacket
- hiking pants
- fleece sweater etc.
- gloves
- hiking poles (if you struggle with knee pain etc.)
- food/snacks and drinks, around 1 liter should be enough.
- backpack for food/drinks etc.

- the guide pick you up at your accomodation, please bear in mind that the guide might come within 10 minutes of chosen time due to multiple pick up points.
- we drive for about 1.5 hour through scenic landscapes until we do a short stop for about 15 minutes at a charming cafe serving delicious local food and drinks.
- we continue for about 1 hour until we reach the basecamp of kjeragbolten.
- we prepare our gear and clothes, use the restrooms one last time and fill up our water bottles with clean tap water, if needed.
- your guide gives you details about the day.
- we hike for around 2-3 hour including small breaks.
- we explore and relax at kjeragbolten for around 30-40 minutes.
- we hike back for around 2-3 hours incl. small breaks, if conditions allows it we do a small detour to show an amazing hidden spot where the fjord reveals itself at its best.
- when we have finished the descent, we have a small break to buy souvenirs, food/drinks and use the restrooms.
- we drive for around 1.5 hour until we reach a local restaurant/cafe where we have a small stop for about 15 minutes. they got a variety of local products.
- we reach stavanger after about 1 hour, where your guide drop you off at your location after this adventurous day!
